RS Residence
RS Residence is conceived as a tranquil tropical retreat for a couple relocating from Jakarta to Benoa. Rather than one large house, the design is three distinct volumes — a main living pavilion, an independent private suite, and a service wing — connected by a long lap pool that organises the site.
The program is complete but unhurried: open living and dining, a kitchen, study, and walk-in wardrobe in the main pavilion; three bedrooms; an open-air gym, workshop, staff accommodation, and garage in the service wing; a pond and layered gardens between.
The palette is contemporary tropical with restrained Balinese accents — dark timber and timber slats, local stone, rattan, whitewashed concrete, structural steel, and glass — set against lush planting, with shaded transitions carrying life between the pavilions. The project is currently in its conceptual stage.
